Ove’s Hjulkorv Hötorget’s #1 Sausage Stand, it’s Awesome!
THIS HOTDOG STAND OFFERS A UNIQUE EXPERIENCE. A VERY TASTY ONE!
As I started my tour through the Hötorget area the first place I came to, once I left the T-banna (Swedish for subway) was this wonderful little Hotdog Stand. I’ve never been to a hotdog stand that had some of the things that this one offered; such as Venison, Wild Boar, Elk,… and of course pork & chicken as well as many other options.
The owners that run the stand were so nice. The husband is a native to Sweden and he explained somethings about the culture, customs and unique foods that are found in Sweden. His wife is a sweet lady from Laos that made the fable attempt to teach me a few words in Lao. I’m sure my Lao attempts were pitiful at best with my hillbilly/cowboy accent – I’m from Texas. As a Texan I have a decent understanding of meat. These fine folks run a fresh operation. My hat is off to them!
In Hötorget there is a lot to see and do. If you want to grab something quick, unique, delicious from some really great folks, I highly recommend this one-of-a-kind Hotdog Stand on the corner of the infamous Blue Concert House!
