A Family Tradition of Great Food
CULINARY DELIGHT THAT JUST KEEPS GETTING BETTER
I’ve actually eaten at Piccolino several times. Their fish soup is something that I look so forward to that I wouldn’t have imagined going there and ordering something else.
I’m glad that I was persuaded to try some of their other dishes because this restaurant is certainly not a one-hit wonder. They have a salmon plate and several other dishes that are platinum!
The Piccolino story began in 1958 when Erik Jarnebäck opened the Piccolino Bar in Hötorgshallen. He had previously opened the Tehuset in Kungsträdgården 1953. Mr. Erik had a long history in trading and dealing in good taste. Prior to opening Piccolino and the Tehuset he dealt exclusively with teas, coffee, and seasonings. His four daughters: Helene, Maria, Louise, Jan as well as the granddaughter that I met “Camilia” are now rocking the food world!
